I Had No Plans for Modifications, But I Decided to "Add One Extra View"

When I bought my Model Y, I was looking for simplicity and peace of mind, so the idea of modifications never crossed my mind.

However, after driving for a while, I discovered a very real problem: there are areas I’ve simply never been able to see clearly. For example:
Merging onto highways: Needing to judge following distances in a split second.
Side-rear traffic: Sometimes it feels more like "guessing" than "confirming."
Night or rain: Rearview information often gets obscured.
The Model Y already has plenty of assistive features, but in real-world driving, the most fundamental requirement is still "Can I see clearly?"

I initially looked for simple solutions, but they were either unintuitive or unsuitable for use while driving. I finally chose the Aumo EYEX Plus because it perfectly matched my real needs: completing the field of view without changing my existing driving habits.

I focused on these key aspects:
• Effective Information: Does the screen show "previously invisible" areas?
• Cognitive Load: Is the logic simple? (No re-learning required).
• Daily Utility: Does it actually save judgment time during my commute?
• Natural Experience: Does it blend seamlessly with the Model Y user experience?

The real-world change after using it is simple: I’ve stopped double-checking. Before, I’d always look multiple times before changing lanes; now, one glance gives me complete information for a direct decision. Even friends riding with me quickly understand what the screen is showing—it’s not a complex system, but a more intuitive way to receive information.
